Welcome to the Humboldt Council of the Blind (the Council), the local nonprofit chapter of the California Council of the Blind The Humboldt Council of the Blind is a 501c3 charitable group under the nonprofit status of the California Council of the Blind. Our local council helps serve the blind and visually impaired residents of Humboldt County, California (North coast) Tax deductible donations can be made to Humboldt Council of the blind, PO Box 175, Eureka, CA 95502.
Your donations assist in providing various support such as resource information through the council's telephone resource line at: 707-839-7266, public education on how to live independetly with visual impairments, and advocacy for improved safety.
The Council is a consumer based group of blind and sighted people whose purpose is to advocate for more opportunities for visually impaired people.

The 7th annual Humboldt Council of the Blind (HCB) benefit show is coming again. Saturday, January 21st @ The Alibi on the plaza in Arcata! The cost is $5 to $20 sliding scale donation. Start time is 10:30pm and the club is 21 & over after dinner hours.
