"One of my favorite restaurants. In the pricey range. Only open for dinner is the downfall... You will need reservations all week long. For a less expensive but great dinner here. Try the pizzas from the wood fired oven, includes soup or salad. And try the house red wine. Its rotated daily or so, and very good as owner is a wine conneseur. Also a wine tasting here once a month call for details. Also try the houderve plate with pate and veges..."

"\"My favorite for hundreds of miles. This is one of those very rare houses where I find myself closing my eyes to savor some flavor undistracted. The ambiance is friendly, inclusive, and cozy. The food is wonderful; the combinations sometimes surprising, like apricot jam on a pizza or wasabi on steak, but some of my favorites. Wines are delicious, the desserts delightful. We drive from Garberville, about 75 miles, and it\'s worth it. The best date restaurant in Humboldt ."

"This restaurant brings together a romantic hideaway and a fabulous menu!!! The bistro ambiance, makes it possible to believe you might step out the front door and see the Eiffel Tower. Exotic soups and pate' are remarkable. Thoughtful wine list and creative desserts mesh parfaitement!"

"My boyfriend an I love it. We go there for every special occasion. The dessert menu changes every week and is the best in town. Our favorite dessert is "Coffee & Donuts" and if you call a week in advance they will make sure to have it. Also, they offer wine grape juices that have a distinct and wonderful flavor but are non-alcoholic for those of us that don't drink."
