You're half an hour into a car trip and need a snack. Now what? With a
little planning, you can have food for the road that's good-and good for
you.
A small cooler (six pack soda size) with an ice pack can hold baggies
of orange and/or apple slices, cut up veggies, boiled eggs, or string
cheese. Keep a water bottle with you and lay off the caffeine. If you
are tired, you need a nap, not a stimulant.
If you are traveling by plane, order something different. As a vegetarian,
I was surprised at all the options people can have instead of the hamburger.
Ask them to tell you the different meals that they have available when
you order your tickets.
Probably the best advice to all those eating on the go is to do yourself
a big favor: Stay out of the fast food lane!

two boys, Matthew and Andrew. As vegetarians, they are always intrigued
by what is offered for vegetarian choices! Her e-mail is info@nutriminute.com.
