Ad manager says "so long"
by Barbara Clark
Elizabeth Whitley, Senior News' ad manager for the past seven years,
is putting out her own shingle for graphics production and bidding good-bye
to the paper.
We will miss her enthusiasm for this unique senior niche publication.
She has increased the quality of advertising in our pages, has steadfastly
supported our many local businesses as they struggle with the changing
economy, and has raised our revenues from $36,000 when she first joined
the staff to more than $55,000 this fiscal year. That's a lot of individual
phone calls for an average of about eight inches of advertising per customer
each month.
During her tenure, she graduated from HSU with a degree in graphic arts.
She also operated Senior News Graphics for four years until it was closed
in December and she launched her own business, Catalyst Graphics, next
door to her Senior News office. She'll still be available for your high
end graphics production-newsletters, brochures, posters and books. Her
phone number is 707-442-4278, and her address is 1809 Albee, Suite C.
Barbara Clark is editor of Senior News and is beginning her ninth year
as editor in April.
