Eel River swimming hole guide available on web

A guide to the location of more than 20 natural swimming holes in the Eel River Valley has been published by Albert Miller of Rio Dell.

The four-part guide was published first last year in Senior News, July through October.

River levels are lower this year, Miller said, but many of the holes, which tend to form at the base of hills and bluffs where rivers meander, are in fairly good shape and well attended.
