Timber Ridge builds 48 new senior units
The Timber Ridge McKinleyville site will
have 48 studios and one-bedroom
apartments, an exercise room, a computer/library room, and a new "country
kitchen" that will provide a social hub of the new residence. Construction
is already underway at the site on Heartwood Drive behind Miller Farms.
Anticipated opening is April 2004.
Timber Ridge at McKinleyville began at least
eight years ago with a
dream of Dan Farnum. As he developed this dream, he included Dan Johnson
and
Danco Development. For a couple of years, Johnson researched feasibility
of
assisted living and formed Western Living Concepts, a partnership of the
two
families, which built the first Timber Ridge complex in Eureka.
