Go back to school Sign up for the Over-60 Program at HSU by Rhonda Geldin Join us in the Over-60 Program at Humboldt State University this fall. Despite budget cuts, the fee is still $6 per semester (with an additional $5 ID card for first-time participants). Applications are still being accepted for the Fall semester to participate in HSU's Over-60 Program. The only requirements are that you will be age 60 and have lived in the state prior to Sept. 20, 2004. If you are new to the program, you will want to attend an informational meeting and orientation on Monday, Aug. 16, at 10 a.m. in the Student & Business Services (SBS) Bldg., Room 405. All details about the program will be discussed and your application (if you have not already turned one in) can be completed and turned in at this meeting. Over-60 participants may register for fall classes starting Saturday, Aug. 21. On-campus registration assistance will be provided on the first floor of the SBS Bldg. from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will continue throughout the first week of the term. The Over-60 Program Brown Bag Luncheon Social will be held Friday, Oct. 8, at noon in Nelson Hall East, Room 113. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet with other students and share about the courses you're taking. I hope to see many of you there.
