Only $6 a semester
Join the Over-60 Program at HSU this spring

by Rhonda Geldin

Applications are still being accepted for the Spring 2005 semester to participate in HSU's Over-60 Program. The only requirements are that you will be age 60 and have lived in the state of California before Jan. 25, 2005.

The fee is still $6 per semester with an additional $5 I.D. card for first-time participants.

If you are new to the program, you can attend an informational meeting and orientation on Monday, Jan. 10, at 10 a.m. in the Student and Business Services Bldg., fourth floor, Room 405. All details about the program will be discussed.

Over-60 Program participants may register for Spring 2005 classes starting Saturday, Jan. 15. On-campus registration assistance will be provided on the first floor of the SBS Bldg. from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. and will continue throughout the first week of the term.

Kathryn Corbett, a charter participant of the Over-60 Program, has volunteered to meet throughout February with anyone wanting to talk about their Over-60 experience. On February 2, 9, 16 and 23, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., Kathryn will be waiting to meet with people in the Depot.

For all information regarding the Over-60 Program, please go to HSU's web site at www.humboldt.edu/~records/ and click [Over 60 Admissions] or contact me at 826-6213 or e-mailgeldin@humboldt.edu.
