Flu shots The dates and times of the flu shot clinics were decided only after the vaccines were received, and none but the few dates at the Public Health Branch and the Blue Lake clinic will be in this edition of Senior News. We apologize to readers that no one knew when vaccine would be available in time to get the late October and pre-circulation November dates into the October edition. ~The editor Shots are available at the Blue Lake Community Center, Nov. 10, 9-11:30 a.m. and at the Humboldt County Public Health Branch, 529 I St., Eureka, at the following times: • Infants and children younger than 9, Nov. 7, 1-4 p.m. • Seniors age 60 and older, Nov. 14, 15, 17, 18, 1-4 p.m. People age 9 to age 59 with life-threatening medical conditions need to bring a prescription from their provider. $7 donation is requested, and Medicare can be billed.
