Planning ahead
Area Agency sets public hearings


The Area 1 Agency on Aging will hold two public hearings in March to receive comments from senior citizens or their families on proposed activities for fiscal year 2006-2007.

The Del Norte County public hearing will be held Wednesday, March 1, at 1 p.m. at Crescent Fire Protection District, 255 W. Washington Blvd. in Crescent City.

The Humboldt County public hearing will be held Friday, March 3, at 1:30 p.m. at Humboldt County Library, 1313 Third St. in Eureka.

If you are unable to attend either of the two meetings, the A1AA will accept written comments received until March 8. Written comments may be mailed to AAA, 3300 Glenwood St., Eureka, CA 95501, Attn: Chris Martinek.
