More than 10 million drivers have taken AARP's Driver Safety program. In March, volunteer instructors began teaching Edition 6 of the course. It includes a new workbook and expanded and improved videos.

We continue to offer the same friendly, informal format with plenty of practical information and no tests. The eight-hour course was developed for drivers age 50 and older and it meets the DMV standard for mature driver safety programs. Ask your insurance agent about insurance premium reductions for graduates. The cost is still $10 for the three-year certificate.
