Healy Senior Center yard sale moves to Veterans Hall and Presbyterian Church

The annual Healy Senior Center giant yard sale and raffle will be held for the first time in Garberville. We will have two locations: the Presbyterian Church and the Veteran's Hall.

We will miss being under the trees at Healy's, but look forward to this new approach. The sale will offer large items in one place and smaller ones in the other. We will also be selling food.

The sale will take place Saturday, Aug. 25, and Sunday, Aug. 26 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The raffle will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday.

Many local merchants have contributed gift certificates for prizes for the raffle. Tickets are $1 each and are on sale at the Healy Senior Center and around town by friends and neighbors.

If you have gently used items to donate for sale, please get in touch with the senior center to arrange to drop them off at our storage unit or have them picked up. Give us a call at 923-2399.
