Information program moves to new Wellness Center

The Area 1 Agency on Aging has moved the Del Norte InfoCenter to its new location in the Del Norte Community Wellness Center at 550 East Washington Street, Suite 200, in Crescent City.

The Del Norte InfoCenter joins the Healthcare District and the Community Health Center in the new space. The Community Wellness Center is close to the Del Norte Senior Center, social services, public health and Sutter Coast Hospital.

Since 2002 the Del Norte InfoCenter has been available to the residents of Del Norte. The InfoCenter is a one-stop information and referral service center designed to connect residents to health and human resources in and out of the county. Programs within the Del Norte InfoCenter include Health Insurance Counseling and Advocacy Program, Senior Information and Assistance, Retired & Senior Volunteer Program and Volunteer Center of the Redwoods as well as community outreach and education.
