CSL Volunteer Needed The Area Agency on Aging is seeking potential applicants to be the Senior Assembly Member representing Humboldt and Del Norte counties in the California Senior Legislature (CSL). Potential applicants must be age 60 or older, a registered voter and live in either Del Norte or Humboldt counties. CSL activities are nonpartisan. The successful applicant must be willing to travel to Sacramento once a year in October to attend the state CSL session. Partial reimbursement is available. Other qualifications include an interest in legislation and an understanding of elder issues. To apply or for more information, call AAA Executive Director Sandi Fitzpatrick at 442-3763 for an application packet. The packet must be returned before April 28. Interested applicants will be interviewed by the AAA Advisory Council in early May. The Senior Assembly Member will join Senior Senator Mary Dennison of Eureka in representing the northwest.
